This Israel travel guide is written by a real person who was born, raised and spent most of his life in Israel. When I mention to people where I came from most of them tell me “I have always wanted to see it”.
This guide shows you how fascinating this country is and how excited you will become by visiting there.
If you have already visited the holy land before, I hope you will find here some great tips and interesting attractions for your next visit.
There are so many beautiful and inspiring places to visit when you travel to Israel, and you will find it hard to decide what your favorite is.
While you can find information from different travel books, in my Israel travel guide I tried to bring a fresh and personal insider viewpoint on the “must see” locations as well as less known attractions and special data about the country.
The main attractions that you most definitely don't want to miss are:
Jerusalem which will no doubt leave an impact on you. As one of the oldest cities in the world –
it has so much culture, religious significance
and beauty – you will almost feel like you are part of a biblical story.
The city is roughly divided into the old and the new city. Naturally most of the popular sites are located at the old city among those: the Western Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
The old city of Jerusalem
Tel-Aviv is one of my favorite cities in the world. The awesome beaches, modern design and fast pace makes it a great Mediterranean city which will pretty much keep you busy 24/7.
The Galilee and other northern attractions including the Sea of Galilee and Nazareth. This area of the land has it all - breathtaking views, religious and historical sites of great significance and plenty of fun activities. If you are like me and enjoy great food and fantastic wine the Galilee area will not disappoint you.
The Dead Sea is a unique natural phenomenon unlike anything else! It is the lowest place on the planet. The mineral concentration in the water is so extreme that there is no life in this sea. Those minerals that come in the form of salt and mud are very beneficial to the skin and generally to your health, and many people arrive from all over the world to bath in this magical sea. It is actually very easy to float on the water. In the Dead Sea area you can also find a few sites of historical & archeological importance.

Eilat on the red sea can be best described as the Israeli Riviera. It has plenty of sun year round, terrific beaches and the best resorts in Israel. It is also considered one of the best places in the world for scuba diving and windsurfing.
But there is so much more to see and do
when you visit the country.
I created this website to show you what makes this country so special.
The religious aspect, the culture and the history is like no other – worldwide.
The great diversity and the variety of landscape (sea, desert, lakes etc.) and culture (mix of old and new world) in a very small country
will make you go WOW!!!
All you need is good information and a plan
of what it is you want to see and do. In this web site
I will offer you both – so lets get started.
Here is a short video that will give you a little taste of the country:
