Here are a few more Israel beaches I like. If you already looked at my main page about beaches in Israel - here you can find a few other beaches and pictures from the Mediterranean beaches in the country.
A popular beach is the Carmel Beach that – surprise – is located at the foot of Mount Carmel. The beaches in Haifa are also famous for the different surfing activities and the city even hosted the windsurfing world championship.
If you are in Akko don’t skip the Abu Kristo restaurant in the old city. The food is great and you literally sit just above the water on the beach. Right next to the restaurant in the water are ruins of an ancient wall, and if you are lucky enough to come at the right time (your guess is as good as mine but in the weekends your chances are better), you will be able to watch young people diving from the wall into the water. As you can see below, this can be quite spectacular!
Achziv beach, located north of Haifa between Nahariya and Rosh Hanikra, used to host a Club Med and is considered by many as one of the most beautiful beaches in Israel. I personally like the more crowded and sandy beaches in Tel Aviv, for example, but Achziv is definitely a great option while visiting the northern part of the country.
