If you never tried it before - my guess is that you will love it…
I added this couscous recipes page as there are so many great recipes
and options to cook the couscous – with vegetables, meat, chicken etc.
Couscous is a grain - but when people say the word they usually mean the dish - which originated from Northern Africa and is popular in countries such as Morocco and Algeria. It was brought to Israel by Jews that came from those countries and became hugely popular. It really is delicious!
Anyway, here is one great, simple recipe for couscous that you can try at home - it really is a beginner’s recipe though, as I buy the couscous grain in a package rather than preparing it from scratch. If you know of any other tasty recipe you are welcome to send us a submission or comment (at the bottom of this page).

After I finished preparing the couscous I served it to my family and we ate the whole thing. One thing I forgot was to take pictures, so instead I added the picture above by Ukcider of a different couscous recipe. And below is a picture by Shoshana of yet another couscous recipe.
