Dead Sea Salt & Dead Sea Mud:
Skin and Health Benefits

The Dead Sea salt and Dead Sea mud both have many health benefits. There are a lot of tourists, mainly people who suffer from skin conditions, who visit this amazing lake to get well or feel better physically.

I actually heard that the health insurance in certain European countries covers the cost of the trip to the Dead Sea for people with certain skin conditions.

However, you don't need to have a skin condition to benefit from the salt and mud. If you just want to pamper yourself and get healthy, young-looking skin then try it - I guarantee you will be amazed at the results.

So, what kind of conditions are we talking about?

If you have one or more of the following skin conditions I strongly recommend bathing in the water and the mud in this salty lake:

  • Psoriasis
  • Acne
  • Eczema
  • Scabies
  • Dermatitis
  • Seborrhea
  • Dandruff

If you think your skin is very dry or you get strange rashes on your skin you too can benefit. And again - you don't need to have a skin condition to enjoy the awesome results the salt and mud provide.

What if I can’t visit the Dead Sea any time soon?

Good question. There are actually many Dead Sea products in the market that use minerals derived from the lake. You may have seen them in the malls: various creams, scrubs, nail polish, masks and most importantly the salts and the mud. Years ago I actually used to sell some of those products.

Here is my recommendation to you:

Only buy and use REAL and AUTHENTIC Dead Sea mud, Dead Sea salt or other Dead Sea products.

Now I found a company that delivers just that. They are called Cleopatra's Choice and they offer the real stuff at very reasonable prices.

Dead Sea salt
Dead Sea mudThe Dead Sea salt and mud are very unique. The salt is extremely bitter – nothing like your table salt.

Below is a coupon code from Cleopatra's Choice, you can use it to save 10% on their Dead Sea cosmetic products (soap, salt, mud):

Beware that many web sites and some companies on E-bay sell Dead Sea salt that actually never came from Israel – but was derived from the ocean.

Anyways, before you buy make sure the product is authentic. You can try my recommended vendor, and know for sure you are buying the real thing. Obviously, if you purchase products at the Dead Sea itself or most anywhere in Israel - you can also be sure you are getting the real thing.

If the price is too cheap, or you do not see immediate change in your skin condition – you probably have a fake product.

The salts and mud can also help with other body and health issues such as:

  • Rheumatologic Conditions: Arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, back pain, bursitis etc.
  • Cellulite
  • Water Retention
  • Hair loss
  • Stress
  • Insomnia

So take my advice and while in Israel bath in the salty water and try the mud - you will love it! If you can't make it to the Dead Sea try it at home and get the same great results.
