The hotels in Tel Aviv Israel come in great variety. Even though the city is large - the second most populous city in Israel - many accommodations in Tel Aviv have good location, close to “everything,” as the city itself is not spread out over a large area. However, some locations are better in my opinion. My recommendations below include those hotels that have very good location and offer great value for your money.
There are several Tel Aviv hotels with bigger names and that are more high-end, but in the Carlton you get a combination of all that is good – location, service and amenities. The hotel is located perfectly on the beach next to the marina and offers a terrific view. It is close to everything – port, shopping and museums - and the beach is literally outside the entrance to the hotel.
The rooms are fairly large and offer all the amenities you would expect (and more). I recommend that you stay at one of the Royal Floor rooms, which allows you entrance to the 14th floor Royal Lounge. The lounge offers food throughout the day and after 4PM you can even enjoy an open bar.
The breakfast is huge (even in Israeli standards) and is extremely varied.
The staff is friendly and attending and the hotel is sparkling clean.
Whether you are with family, a group or on business, the Carlton is a really good choice in the higher end hotel segment in Tel Aviv. Do yourself a favor and stay there – you won’t be disappointed.

Vital hotel is promoted as a "business boutique hotel," meaning it caters specifically for the business traveller. It is also not just another big name-brand hotel like Hilton or Sheraton, etc. but rather a private, intimate kind of hotel where you can expect more personalized service.
The Vital Hotel is located in the heart of Tel-Aviv, close to the city's various museums, shops and restaurants. It is about 15 minutes walk to both the Azrieli Center and to the beach. The Tel Aviv Opera House, Habima Theater, Tel Aviv Museum, Diamond Exchange Center and the Israel Trade Fairs Center are also pretty close by.
The rooms in the hotel (and the hotel as a whole) are modern-looking
and stylish and included in the stay is the standard complimentary full Israeli
breakfast, which is always welcome and very tasty!
Vital has a number of features to cater for the business traveler including:

By the way here is a short video tour of the hotel:
The Cinema Hotel is a charming place to stay while in Tel Aviv. It is
located right on the Dizengoff square and fountain – you can’t get more
central than this.
Although the hotel is not too far from the beach - it is not a beach hotel.
The style of the building is called Bauhaus, which is a 1930’s modern German style with clean and simple lines.
The hotel used to be a cinema back in the day and its name - as well as
the décor and memorabilia - is in honor of that era. No lack of
character in this place.
The hotel is very clean and service is very personal and friendly. There is a large Israeli style complimentary breakfast.
Other amenities include the rooftop deck and a sauna plus a jacuzzi next
to it. In addition, old films are being projected in the lobby and
popcorn is freshly made to complete the experience.
In the
afternoon and through the evening a light buffet is available to all
guests at the outside terrace overlooking the city. All in all this
place is your best bet in the mid range Tel Aviv hotels.

Here is a short video about the Cinema Hotel:
The Ben Yehuda apartments - as the name suggests - are not really a hotel. However, it will give you better value for less money spent than similar hotel accommodations in Tel Aviv. You see, what you get is an actual apartment with two bedrooms and a kitchen. Very good arrangement for a family visiting the city - but not only a family would enjoy this place.
The location is great, as Ben Yehuda Street is very close to the beach
and also centered enough to be accessible to all other attractions.
The staff is friendly and the apartments are well cleaned every
other day. Also included are three TV’s and free Wi-Fi internet connection
in every unit.
A real find and highly recommended.
