Israel Visa Requirements

So, do you need an Israel visa?!

Well...

If you are a citizen of one of the 65 countries I listed below, then you don't need a visa. All you need is a valid passport.

You will be issued a tourist visa free of charge when you enter Israel. Your tourist visa will be good for 3 months.

Here is the list:

Africa:
Central African Republic, Losoto, Malawi Mauritius, South Africa, Swaziland

Asia & Oceania:
Australia, Fiji Islands, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, South Korea

Europe:
Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Germany (date of birth after 1.1.28), Gibraltar,Great Britain (England, the UK), Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, The Netherlands (Holland), Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland

The Americas:
Argentina, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, St. Kitts & Nevis, Surinam, Trinidad & Tobago, The Bahamas, The Dominican Republic, Uruguay, U.S.A.

If you are a citizen of one of the above mentioned countries there are NO Israel visa requirements for you.

If you aren’t a citizen of one of the above countries don’t be sad!!! Click here to contact the Israeli mission closest to you - they will help you get an Israel visa.

please take note of the following tips:

  1. Your passport must be valid for an additional 6 months from the date you entered the country. Check that point before you fly to Israel.

  2. make sure you have sufficient money to last you while you are in Israel. I have actually met a guy on a flight who was sent back to his country because he had too little money for the time he wanted to stay. So please don’t come broke – the port authorities will suspect you came to work illegally.

  3. I also recommend you to have a plan regarding your accommodations during your trip – they do check into it occasionally.
