All the big international hotel chains have presence in Jerusalem with big hotels mainly on the west side of the city.
In my recommendations I tried to include unique hotel choices that give you a different experience typical to the city and to Israel in general.
The King David Hotel - 5 stars
If you got the cash, the King David can and will deliver. It is probably the best “old world” hotel in Israel, and is a member of the “leading hotels of the world”. In this hotel you will usually find VIP’s and celebrities – that is if you care to meet them…
The hotel is located in an upscale area, very close to all the major attractions and overlooking the old city – great view. The decoration is unique in a sort of Middle Eastern mixed with Art Deco.
The breakfast buffet is amazing and probably one of the best in Israel. On arrival there are complimentary fruits and drinks, as well as many other amenities.
The pool, the gardens and the terrace are simply gorgeous. You should expect service of the highest quality, as most staff has been working there for years.
I can go on and on but to conclude I can tell you that while staying in this hotel it feels like the king is still there! The best of the best out of all the Jerusalem hotels! Click here for more information and for reservations

Harmony Hotel 3-4 stars
Harmony is a rather small boutique hotel with modern decor. This hotel is fantastic! The service and cleanliness of the rooms is remarkable.
It has a great location and is only 10 minutes walk from the Old City along Jaffa Road. Good complimentary breakfast that includes: eggs, salads, cheeses, tuna, salmon, yogurts, fruits, breads, sweets and beverages.
In their nice lounge you can find a pool table and an afternoon complimentary happy hour – including drinks and snacks. There are lots of restaurants and nice cafes around the hotel area. Eldan Hotel - 3 stars
The Eldan gives you great value for your money.
And it is reasonably priced.
The hotel is owned by a big local car rental company – with the same name Eldan - and you could get a good double deal of a hotel + car.
Eldan has the kind of location that is unrivaled in Jerusalem. Only the above recommended King David Hotel – which is across the street from Eldan - has that kind of location but in the Eldan you will pay a lot less.
The Eldan hotel is not luxurious but it is clean and very comfortable.
