While there are plenty of Jerusalem
museums to choose from, most visitors to the city have time limitations. On this page I list and describe the few top Jerusalem museums I feel should not be missed while visiting the city:
This museum is a must. It hosts the world famous Dead Sea Scrolls, which are the oldest biblical manuscripts in the world. In addition, you can find a model of Jerusalem as it stood in the period of the second temple (before 66 CE).
Elsewhere in the 20-acre campus, you can enjoy one of the best sculpture gardens in the world, with famous names like Pablo Picasso, Auguste Rodin, James Turrell and many others. And if that’s not enough, there are at least ten other exhibits at any given time. Enjoy.
